Your "Hit the Ground Running!" List

Woohoo!! You have officially signed up and your Start Up Kit is on the way. This may be the most crucial time in your business! You are excited and now is the time to get started! Don't worry, you won't need your kit for this stuff. In fact, I'm glad you don't have it yet because some of these steps are just as important and exciting than anything that is in your kit! It's ok and maybe even necessary, to take several DAYS to go through the steps in this first post. So don't get overwhelmed! Just take some time each day to finish the steps and you won't be sorry! This training is set up with the assumption that you want to make some good money with this business. If it is more of a hobby in your mind, that's OK! Your business is yours and you are free to do as you choose. :o) Just keep reading and see where it takes you.

  1. Find Your WHY!There is a saying in businesses like ours, “Your why should make you cry.” Something made you want to sign up in this business and there is a reason you are excited about it. You should pinpoint what that is. There is something that is important to you that you are working toward and you think this business will get you there. Maybe you are just excited about the product and you're wondering how that could make you cry. Perhaps you don't yet realize the full potential of what you signed up for. That's ok! Just keep reading. As you progress in this training, you'll start to see it, and you will find your “why.” When you find your “why” you will do what it takes to be successful, and any sacrifices you decide to make will make sense. Set Your GOALS!
  1. Once you find your “why,” you are going to need to set goals to get it! Even if you don't fully understand your why yet, no worries. Just set your goals and you can update them as needed. Jamberry has already set up a very good starting point for your short-term goals with the Fast Start program. If you're not sure how this all works or where you want to be, just jump into the Fast Start and you'll be on your way. However, if you want more from this business even faster, you may want to set your own short-term goals higher and you'll breeze through your Fast Start bonuses along the way! You can find the details of the Fast Start program in your Workstation under the “Resources” tab and the “Volume and Earnings” tab. You can go here to set your goals before you move on to number 3.   2. Make Your LIST!
    First, go back to the link in number 2 and set your goals. :) Now you're ready to get to work! This LIST is going to be the most important component of your business. For as long as you are doing this business, your list will be your number one tool. This business is all about networking. In fact, we will often refer to it as “Network Marketing.” You can't network without building a network, and you can't build a network without a list of people to contact. If you don't fully understand what all this means yet, that's not a problem! But understand that there is someone upline from you making a lot of money, and this is what they did. No one has ever made a significant amount of money in this type of business without a list. It's so simple to do, and it can even be fun! Here is where you will get help making your list!   3. Plan Your LAUNCH PARTY!
    If you don't have at least 100 names on your list, you should finish that first! Your list will also contain the names of the people you will invite to your Launch Party. I strongly suggest having an online (Facebook) Launch party and an in-home launch party. Having a Launch Party is the best way to get familiar with the Jamberry home party and the Facebook party. It is best to set a date that is no longer than two weeks out from your sign up date. Start with momentum by passing on your initial excitement to your family and friends! If at all possible, you should ask your sponsor to do the presentation and product demonstration at your in home Launch Party so that you can watch and learn. Having your sponsor do the party will also give you credibility with your guests. If this isn't possible, you can still have a stellar party! Ask your sponsor for tips, advice, and videos that will help you do it yourself. 
  4. Create a PARTY in your Workstation.
    Create your first party. Chances are you have shared your excitement about joining Jamberry with friends and family. Some of these people may want to order immediately. In order to take full advantage of these orders for your first Fast Start, you must create your first party. In your Workstation--Click "parties" tab and select "add party". Name your party, "My Jamberry Launch Party" and fill out the party details with your information. Yes, you will be the consultant and the hostess!!! Double whammy- you will get commission and host rewards. Put two weeks from today's date for the date of the party. Jamberry does not allow us to keep parties in an open status for longer than 2 weeks (currently unenforced). "Schedule" your party and hit "continue". Your party is now ready to accept orders and should move into the "active" parties area. When your friends and family place orders online, have them select "My First Party". This is the same process for any party you are creating. Any party listed in your "active" parties group will be available at checkout for your customers to select and credit your host with their party sales.
  5. Order Your BUSINESS CARDS!
    Order your Business Cards. You will need these asap to market your business .As of March 1, 2013 all business cards and other marketing materials will be exclusively created by Jamberry and offered to us either through our workstation “training and marketing" tab or via other companies for purchase. You are not allowed to design your own business cards.. Currently, the only Jamberry created business cards available are on Vistaprint. http://jamberrynails.biz.vistaprint.com. This makes it quick and easy! Just fill in your info and you're ready to order!
  6. Create CATALOG LABELS
    Your catalogs are going to be one of your most valuable tools for growing your business! If you plan on getting a jump start on your business, and you have the money, I recommend ordering extra catalogs asap! If not, don't worry! You should make enough money on your first parties to put into catalogs if that's what you choose to do. There will be a place on the back of the catalogs to put all of your info. I use Avery or Avery compatable 1 x 2 5/8 shipping labels. The Avery number for these is 5160. There is a template for these in the New Consultants Dropbox folder. Just fill in your own info. Name, Phone #, email, and your Jamberry Nails website.
  7. Promote your new business on FACEBOOK
    You want to share with everyone you can that you have started a new business. Most people have not heard of Jamberry and certainly do not know you are selling it if you don't tell them. Post something personal that sounds like you. Here is an example: I'm officially a Jamberry Nails Independent Consultant!!! If you are not familiar with Jamberry--you need to check them out! I have fallen in love (obviously) and have been wearing my nail wraps for a week now and they still look perfect! There are over 300 to choose from. Use the link below to find my catalog-- (link to your website.) You can also tell them to look for an invite to your online Launch Party!
  8. Get familiar with your WORKSTATION
    You will find a lot of great information in your workstation (this is where you end up when you sign into your website as a consultant.) Most of what you need to explore first is found under the “Resources” tab. There is training on how the compensation plan works (how you get PAID!) You will find training on how to have a good party, etc. Just look around and get familiar with it! When you are on the “Dashboard” tab, which is kind of the homepage, there is a spot on the bottom left called “Support.” This is your contact info to the Jamberry Nails company. Any ordering or website questions can be answered here. During business hours there is a live “chat” box on the bottom left of the screen. They are very helpful!! Take advantage of this. :)
  9. If you didn't set up your ProPay account when you signed up, do this NOW! This is how Jamberry pays consultants, so you don't want to miss this. You can find it under the “My Accounts” tab. Just select “ProPay” and follow the instructions. :)
