You
don't want to just START your business, do you? We start diets and
Zumba and hobbies, and then get bored with them. You want to LAUNCH
your business like a rocket that creates so much energy at the
beginning that it can float right through the rest!! And when you
sponsor others into your team, you want to help them do the same.
You've
set your first goals for your new business. You're going to work it
like a business and not a hobby, because you know that businesses
make money and hobbies cost money. You've got a good start on your
LIST, because you know that your business grows as your network of
people grows. You're now ready to start booking parties! Home
parties are the key to success in this business. Your parties and
your team member's parties! You will earn 30% - 40% commission on
all the sales of all the parties you personally do. That's exciting.
It's even more exciting when you sponsor new people into your team
and they sponsor even more people and you make commissions on all of
the parties that everyone is doing in your downline! That's change
your life forever exciting!! To see how that works, take a look at the posts entitled, Sponsoring Your Frontline and Recruiting Through Your
Levels.
In order to get the most bang for the buck in your launch, you'll
want to book your own home launch party AND Facebook launch party.
Don't limit yourself to one or the other. Do them both. You can find
the step by step process for doing a Facebook party in “Facebook
Parties” post. Typically, you'll want your local contacts to come
to your home party, if possible, and the Facebook party is a great
way of introducing your new business to those who live farther away.
Invite
as many as you can to your home Launch Party! Of course, invite your
closest family and friends. Work out from there. Invite 40 and you
might get 10 to actually show up. So the more ladies you invite, the
better your turnout will be. Invite via Facebook, Twitter, text, etc.
It's nice to set up a Facebook event to invite to your home party,
but you will get the best results by confirming invites with personal
messages or phone calls!
When
it comes to those closest to you, there's no need to act strange
about the invite. Just say something like, “Hey, I just became a
consultant for Jamberry Nails. I posted an event on Facebook if you
have questions about the company or product. I'm having my first
party at my house Thursday the 12th at 6:30. Can I put you
down?” Answer any simple questions they may have, but your priority
is to get them to the party.
If
it's possible, your sponsor should do your launch party. This may
give you credibility with your guests and will give you an
opportunity to watch someone else do a party. If it isn't possible
for your sponsor to do your party, you can find great resources to
help you on this blog under “Parties” and to be SURE you can
apply your Jamberrys correctly watch the “Application Video.”
Practice applying your own. Your sponsor is a great resource for
party questions. If your sponsor can't be at your party, you can still
have an awesome one! Here are some party resources: Home Party Outline,
It
is in this LAUNCH party that you'll make your first retail sales,
which means your first commission check shortly after. Cha-Ching! And
hopefully a few of your guests will want to host their own parties
when they see how awesome yours is. And you'll even have the
potential to sign up your first team-member who can't hold in her
excitement. Imagine getting paid and booking future parties and
starting a downline team at your first party! It's happened to
others. It can happen for you!
During
your LAUNCH party, you can book any parties that came about from your
launch. There is a party outline you can use that helps set the stage
for guests to book their own parties right then and there. This will
always be your goal – to book at least 3 parties from each party
you do. That way, you'll never run out of bookings. You don't want to
hustle and book 8 parties this month and be bone dry to start next
month. It's hard to build momentum that way.
Following
your launch parties, you'll want to organize your LIST a little. Put
a C by the names of those you think might be interested in becoming
customers. Put a H by the names of those you think might be
interested in hosting a party. And put a J by the names of those you
think might be interested in joining your team as a consultant.
Start
contacting women with an H from your LIST to see if they'd be
interested in hosting a Jamberry Nails home party. Since you know
these people, it's not weird. Just use a similar introduction as you
did for your launch party. “Hey, I don't know if you saw, but I've
started a new business. It's called Jamberry Nails. Have you heard of
them? Well, anyway, I'm in the process of booking home parties in the
area. If I come and do all the work and give you some terrific
hostess rewards, would you host a party for your friends? I really
think they'll be excited about this.”
There's
nothing strange about asking a friend to try something you love.
Women do it all the time! If she says, Yes, then give her a choice of
two dates a week or two out and arrange to get her a hostess packet.
If she's not interested in hosting a home party, you can offer to do
a Facebook party for her where she'll get the same rewards. If she
isn't interested in that either, you can ask if she knows anyone who
would like to host a party. She just might give you an awesome
referral. You won't know if you don't ask. She will not likely be
offended at those three requests. Home party. Facebook party.
Referral. Friends like to help each other out.
The
effort you put into booking parties will coincide with the goals you
set a few days ago. Contact as many people as is necessary to book
the number of parties you set out to book. You can usually be pretty
straight up when asking someone already on your LIST about booking a
party. Just tell her what you're doing, why she'd love it, and leave
the rest to her. If she doesn't want to host a home party, she may be
open to hosting a Facebook party. You're throwing money away by not
offering it.
Only book parties up to 21 days out!!! Most hostesses will organize their parties in the last couple days anyway, so they don't need two months to plan it. It's been said that a booking more than 21 days out is no booking at all because it will likely be cancelled. Try to book a week or two out at the most. If a potential hostess wants to book farther than that, offer to get back in touch with her in a few weeks AND then book a party a week or two out FROM THEN.

This
is the basic ongoing work of being a Jamberry Nails independent
consultant. It's not difficult. And it isn't that time-consuming. But
the rewards can be staggering. Just work through your LIST, booking
parties with those who say Yes. As you do parties with those on your
LIST, expand your list with all the new people you're meeting at the
parties. As you do more parties, your LIST grows bigger. Your
business is grows as your network of contacts grows. Every time you
have a party, your network might grow by 6 to 10 new people –
potential hostesses and maybe even team-members.
You
do this over and over again, and you show the people you sign up how
to do the same thing. And you show them how to show the same thing to
the people THEY sign up... so it all gets duplicated to the
trillionth level down. The home party is the most important vehicle
in your success as a Jamberry Nails independent consultant, both in
meeting your retail goals and in recruiting your team of thousands.
